Affiliate Marketing Part 1 = Excellent Income
Affiliate Marketing can provide you with an excellent source of income
if you approach it in the correct way to begin with.
If your aim is simlply to make money from the start when planning your
websites content, then you may find your end result is that affiliate
marketing does not become the provider.
Think more about How you Can Help someone else (your site visitor) find
the answers to what they are looking for.
If you can fix this issue for your visitor, then you are far more likely
to have affiliate income.
It may all sound simple and a little 'obvious', but you will be amazed
at how many people get that small important first step wrong in the first
place.
Affiliate Marketing is a provider of income, you need to be the provider
of useful content for your guests.

Let me give you an example.
I love playing the drums (been a while, but I love it). So I tap into Google the search phrase, Paiste 22" Cymbal. Wow, a whole bunch of listings come up in the organic searches, and a few paid for Adwords ads.
If I took the time to punch that into Google, and you as the Affiliate Marketer provide me with useful information about the search I looked for, the odds are I will stay at your site, read your content and then look for an exit point.
This is where it is important that you place your ads correctly, and you provide me with a reason to click off where you want me to and not simply close my browser.
There are many affiliate tools you can use here, but the main aim is for you to now have me click your affiliate link to leave the page.. Or if you are a real smart cookie, get me to join YOUR mailing list FIRST, then leave your page via an affiliate link. |
Now you have my attention, you can send me MORE RELEVANT information on my
search type, and you
increase the chances of "selling" me something later
on down the road. You may even get an affiliate sale off me
today as I leave
your site as well.
So when planning your affiliate content.. Think about why you are doing it
and what it is going to do to
benefit ME YOUR VISITOR.
